Developing a Terms & Connectors Search
If you have limited information or the information you have doesn't fit the fields on the search form, you may want to use a terms and connectors search.
For example, you might know the city in which a company is located and the nature of the business (such as a doors and windows manufacturer), but no other information. In a terms and connectors search, you can enter the name of the city in the city field, then enter doors AND windows in the Additional Terms field. Your results will include the companies in that city that sell or manufacture doors and windows.
You can use wildcard characters to search for word variations in any of the fields on the form. Connectors work only in the Additional Terms field.
To search using this method, select the Terms and Connectors radio button on the search form.
